COVINGTON — Ross W. Holland, age 70, a native of Covington, died Friday, Oct. 3, in Denver, Colo. He had been in ill health for some time. Mr. Holland was born Sept. 20, 1899 in Covington, the son of John and Carrie Marlatt Holland. He is survived by his wife, Ann; one daughter and several grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Miller of Denver. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mont Holland, who had resided in Danville, Ill. Funeral services were held in Denver Monday afternoon. Burial was in that city. --waw
